Baby Showers & Wedding Showers

Looking forward to the big day or welcoming a new arrival? We’d love to help you shower your guest of honor with a day of love and good wishes. No worries for you – we’ll take care of the clean up so you can enjoy the party along with the other guests.

Included in your Shower & Gatherings Package:

  • We can accommodate up to 12 participants.
  • Showers are scheduled for Sundays between 12 noon and 2:30 pm.
  • Use of dining room and living room common areas.
  • 11:30 early entry for up to 3 people to set up food or decoration you may wish to bring.
  • Complimentary cake or cupcakes of up to 12 people.
  • Coffee, tea, and water.
  • Linens.
  • Tableware.
  • Clean up.

Afternoon Tea

Available September through Mid-May
Get away with the girls or make it a special mother/daughter or sisters’ outing! Our teas can be scheduled from September through May on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday from noon to 2pm. The event runs two hours, with an hour and a half for dining and 30 minutes to tour the Inn’s unoccupied rooms.
Our repast includes tea, salad, and a three-tiered serving and even includes a party favor! The menu varies by season; please note there are no special menus for dairy- or gluten-free. $330 inclusive for up to 6 participants. $55 for each additional guest for up to a total of 12.

Included in your afternoon tea:

  • Choice of tea
  • Spinach salad with raspberries, toasted pecans & Irish cheddar
  • Freshly baked scones with lemon curd & sweetened cream
  • Spiced chicken salad on Naan bread
  • Roast beef with duxelles on a croissant
  • Spinach quiche
  • Assorted desserts
  • Vintage gift to take home
  • Tour of unoccupied rooms at the Inn as time allows

Hands-on Cooking Demonstrations

Spend an evening learning new skills and sharing a meal with friends! From starter to dessert, you and your friends will create, cook, and enjoy a three-course meal. Your instructor is a certified teacher, home chef, and Innkeeper who has taught hundreds and has served delicious foods to thousands.
Your class can be scheduled from September through May on Monday through Thursday evening. Allow up to two and a half hours for cooking and dining, followed by a tour of the Inn’s unoccupied rooms. Your group can choose among set menus which may vary by season. Please note there are no special menus for dairy- or gluten-free. $330 for up to 4 participants. $75 for each additional guest for a total of 6 people.

  • All materials and ingredients
  • Step-by-step guided instruction
  • Take-home recipes
  • Menu that includes a starter, entrée, and dessert
  • Water, coffee, or tea
  • BYOB (Bring Your Own Beverage)

Murder Mystery Dinner Theater

Requires booking the entire Inn for two or more nights for 10 participants Available September through April
Are you looking for a unique way to celebrate a birthday? Get together with friends? Bond with family or team members? Experience something new? Then you’ll love the fun and laughter a Murder Mystery Dinner Theater brings!

Each person in your group will be assigned a character and given costume suggestions to get ready for an unforgettable gathering. Don’t worry about learning a script – there are no lines to memorize! Before and during the party guests receive a list of prompts, directing them to question other characters to dig for information or to drop clues. Sometime during the evening, a person is murdered! Will it be you? Or are you the killer?!
