17 Things To Do in March in Lancaster County

When you visit Lancaster County this March, you’ll find a stack of things to do. From music to museums and food to fine arts, it's a regular pot o' gold!

1.March 1 – 24. Who’s workin’ 9-5? If it’s you, Fulton Theater’s stage production of the movie which starred Dolly Parton is calling your name.

2.March 1-30. They’re creepy and they’re kooky, mysterious and spooky…the Addams Family at Dutch Apple Dinner Theater.

3.March 1 – December. Take your friends Shadrach, Meshach and Abendego to see Daniel at Sight and Sound Theater. We don’t need no stinkin’ lions.

4.March 4 - 10. Greek salad with feta, red peppers, banan peppers, tomatoes and onions on a plate Restaurant Week in Lancaster City. Wear your stretchy pants.

5.March 8. Second Friday in Elizabethtown. Hijinks, hilarity, and a St. Patrick’s fun evening in Downtown Etown with Crazy Pat from New Orleans.

6.March 9. Nissley Vineyard hosts Tap the Tanks. Last fall’s grapes are ready to enjoy with personal charcuterie and music at this exclusive event.

7.March 9 & 10. Carve out some time to see the 49th annual Woodcarving and Wildlife art show, sale and competition in Millersville. Large tigure figure carved from wood and painted in details standing in gravel.

8.March 10. Spring ahead! Move your clocks for Daylight Savings Time. Enjoy a late checkout when you stay this weekend at Olde Square Inn.

9.March 10. It’s Charter Day in PA which means you get into a lot of museums for FREE.

10.March 16. Solve the Murder Mystery “Bazencourt” at Bube’s Brewery’s dinner theater.

13.March 23. Howl at the moon during this Full Moon Fundraising Tour of the Wolf Sanctuary in Lititz.

14.Sat/Sun/Tue/Thu. If you don’t make the Full Moon Tour, book a guided tour at the Wolf Sanctuary any of these days of the week.

15.March 29 & 30. American Music Theater. Live show: dance in the aisles with Celtic Woman.

16.March 29-31. Easter Bunny Train at Strasburg Railroad. Stuffed toy Easter Bunny by a basket of yellow flowers After you attend your Church services and collect your Easter Eggs, hop on a train with the Bunny himself.  He’s even serving lunch.
