Things to Do in November in Lancaster County

Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, always offers great adventures and things to do. Here are a few coming up this November.

NOVEMBER THINGS TO DO

  • 1 – Christmas Candylane at Hershey Park. Select dates now throughJanuary 1. Ride some rides, walk through twinkling lights, see Santa’s Reindeer, stop by the “Kissmas Tree,” and have a jolly ol’ time.
  • 2 – Oregon Dairy’s Makers’ Market. Local artists and curators are selling gifts and hand made items. 10am-4pm.
  • 8 – Are you dreaming of a White Christmas? So was Irving Berlin, and you can enjoy dinner and his show at Dutch Apple Dinner Theater. Now through January 5. Go see it – it takes place at a Vermont INN!
  • 8 – It’s a meet and greet with celebrity paranormal investigator Katrina Weidman at Bube’s Brewery. Get your tickets in advance!
  • 10 – Happy 10th Anniversary to us at Olde Square Inn! All month long guests receive chocolate and bubbly with any two-or more night stay. We’ll have it ready in your room when you arrive. Guests can also enjoy a Mimosa or sparkling juice with breakfast! Book now!
  • 11 – Veterans stay free this evening. Space is limited, so please call to reserve your room. 717-653-4525.
  • 16 – Full Moon Fund Raiser at the Wolf Sanctuary. There’s a bonfire, live entertainment, and guided tours! You can buy your ticket in advance or pay when you get there.
  • 16 – Bazencourt, a Murder Mystery Dinner Theater at Bube’s Brewery. The Brewery is just a 10-minute walk from accommodations at Olde Square Inn!
  • 21 – Feeling crafty? How about making a live-green wreath at the Holiday Workshop at Grandview Winery? Wouldn’t that be fun? Sip some wine, stick on some ribbons, sip some more wine….You can Uber it – only nine miles from the Inn.
  • 24 – OPEN HOUSE at OLDE SQUARE INN! Stop in and say hello, tour available rooms, and enjoy a holiday treat! 2-4pm. Thanks for helping us celebrate 10 great years!
  • 26 – If you missed it in New York, you can now see Hamilton at the Hershey Theater in Hershey. Make it an early Christmas gift to yourself!
  • 28 – Thanksgiving Dinner out. Find out where in Lancaster County you can have a Thanksgiving Dinner that no one in your family has to cook.
  • 29 – Visit Kitchen Kettle Village for their Holiday Flavors Tasting Tour. From 4-7pm they say you can “sip, snack, and shop” your way around the joint on this self-guided adventure. Get tickets in advance. I think it’s a fun way to have a fun dinner.
  • 30 – It’s Small Business Saturday! Select gifts at Mount Joy’s unique shops then relax with lunch or dinner and a drink at one of our many restaurants. As they say, “One day makes a difference!” Celebrate and support small businesses and what they do for their communities.
  • 30 – Bah humbug! What the Dickens?! See A Christmas Carol now through December 28 at the Fulton Theater in Lancaster.
