February isn’t just for Valentine’s Day, you know! In addition to romantic getaways, there are a LOT of fun things to do this February in beautiful Lancaster County.
This month is packed with theater, foods, and great activities. No matter when you plan to get away, you’ll find so much to catch your interest. How many of these are you putting on your “Things To Do” list?!
- February 2. Groundhog’s Day. join Mount Joy Minnie as she makes her appearance at 7AM under the Rotary Clock downtown. (But she’s already been visiting the Inn are and area businesses!)
- February 7. Wine tasting and Wood burning at Nissley Vineyards. Enjoy a flight of wine and create four coasters from a variety of designs. Get tickets in advance.
- February 13-22. It’s the Lititz Fire & Ice Festival. With various activities during the 10-day event, check their calendar to check the ones you don’t want to miss!
- February 14. Sweetie Pie Tour by Amish Farm & House. Sample lots of different pies as you tour the Amish countryside. Who needs a Valentine when there’s pie?
- February14-March 9. Fulton Theater presents the edgy rock-opera Jesus Christ, Superstar. In my 1970s, I-saw-the-original-film mindset, I’ve got to see how this compares the one I grew up with….hmmmm.
- February 15. Spread the Love Tasting Tour at Kitchen Kettle Village. Get your tickets ahead of time todeliciously sample your way through the Village.
- February 21 & 22. Chocolate Walk in Mount Joy. Your ticket entitles you to pick up chocolates at a variety of downtown businesses.Shop Small while you’re there!
- February 28. Fourth Friday Art Walk in Mount Joy. You’ll be able to step out and meet artists who will be stationed at various downtown businesses.
- February 28-April 5. Dutch Apple Dinner Theater presents Waitress. Based on the 2007 film, Jenna is counting on this one pie to be her key to freedom. (Again, there’s pie!0
- February-December. 2025 Ale Trail Passport. Here’s your guide to great beers and prize possibilities around the county. Purchase your passport at Twisted Bine or Havey’s Barbecue, just steps away from accommodations at Olde Square Inn.
