"The Enchanted Cottage" is the most luxurious private vacation accommodations for Pennsylvania lodging in the Mount Joy area. The suite, designed around a huge round raspberry colored whirlpool for two with a fireplace beside it, makes for romantic moments never to be forgotten. As you relax in your private whirlpool, surrounded by a hand-painted garden, watching the flames in the fireplace, all the tension of the day will slip away.
The bed is a queen ornate iron beauty with a custom made comforter and bed skirts. The decor, I call "cottage chic", takes you back to when times were simpler, but not lacking in comfort and luxury. The shower is so big one guest said it is the size of her whole bathroom, and of course there is a double dressing area. Our cottage rental has its own patio, is ground level, and handicapped accessible. The cottage has proven to be the perfect place to plan your very private, romantic vacation for a honeymoon, anniversary, birthday, or any other special occasion that calls for a weekend away in PA. The cottage is completely air-conditioned for your comfort.
The open floor plan of the distinctive cottage makes for easy living. There is a mini kitchen with a microwave, small refrigerator, coffee pot, and toaster. While it is not meant for cooking meals, it's great for a quick breakfast or for snacks. (Breakfast is provided by The Olde Square Inn B&B in the main dining room.) There are famous restaurants within walking distance of the inn offering several delicious choices. |

Royal Room
At the top of the stairs, you'll find our Royal Room. It's royally red and blue with a queen plantation bed, complete with crowns, and of course the private ensuite royal blue bath chamber. It's a large room with plenty of space for a King and Queen.
When you sit in front of the cozy (seasonal) fireplace, it takes you back to the "Knights of the Round Table". In summer, you'll enjoy the air conditioning.

Charleston Room

Take a walk back in history to our Charleston Room. Like the city it's named for, it has romance, a picture of Rainbow Row, white gloves, and grandma's wedding hat.
A new electric fireplace helps you to relax and enjoy your evening. Close your eyes and you can smell the camellias and see the Spanish Moss swaying in the breeze. The private ensuite bath has a shower for two, and plenty of natural sunlight. You'll enjoy the original mural painted by Danielle Hand. In summer, the room is air conditioned.

- Cancellation Policy - We have a seven-day cancellation policy. We require a one-night deposit at the time of the reservation. If you need to cancel before the seven-day time requirement, there is a $20.00 charge. After seven days, you will lose your deposit. Some reservations, such as holidays, special weekends, or extended stays may have a different policy than above. You can contact the innkeeper about them. Check-in is between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m., please call for other arrangements! Smoking is not permitted inside the inn or any of the guestrooms!
