 DirectionsTowns such as Lititz and Bird in Hand, Pennsylvania are but a short drive from the lovely Lancaster County lodging accommodations you will find at The Olde Square Inn B&B. Located in the village of Mount Joy, PA, it is a wonderful location to call home while exploring other locations in Amish Country and a great alternative to a hotel. Here is how you can find us:FROM HARRISBURGFollow 283 East toward Lancaster. Exit at the Manheim/Mount Joy Interchange, turn right toward Mount Joy. Follow 772 into town until you reach the first light at Main Street, Route 230. Turn left onto Main Street, traveling East. After the second traffic light, you will see Floral Designs on your right. The Olde Square Inn is located on the left side of the East end of the same block. Turn left onto High Street, and pull into the drive.FROM LANCASTERRoute 30 to 283 West toward Harrisburg. After about 6 miles, you will see a sign that reads "Mount Joy next two exits". Take the first exit (Route 230), which turns into Main Street as it enters town. Our inn is approximately 2 miles straight on the right.FROM YORKTake Route 30 towards Lancaster. You will cross the Susquehanna River between Wrightsville and Columbia. Immediately after the bridge, you will take the Marietta-Columbia Route 441 exit. Make a right off the ramp and go to the stop sign, make a right onto 441 North up over the hill until you come to the second traffic light. At the light, turn right onto Ore Mine Road. Follow this road around a bend until you come to a stop sign at a church. Turn right onto 772 East (Anderson-Ferry Road) heading toward Mount Joy. Follow this road through another traffic light past Donegal High School on your right. Eventually, you will enter town and come to a stop sign. Turn right onto Main Street. You will immediately come to a traffic light, go through light. At this light, you will see a flower shop on your right. The Olde Square Inn is located on your left side on the East end of the same block. Turn left at the intersection of High Street and Main Street and pull into the driveway.FROM BALTIMORE AND WASHINGTON D.C.Take Route 83 North to Arsenal Road exit to Route 30 East. Follow the York directions above.FROM NEW YORK AND NEW JERSEYTake Route 78 West heading toward Allentown, the road will turn into 81. Head South towards Harrisburg. You will exit at Hershey (Exit 80) and follow Route 743 South. Follow Route 743 South into Elizabethtown, about 18 miles. This will lead into Route 230. Turn left and stay on Route 230 into Mount Joy, about 6 miles. We are on the East end of town at the corners of Main Street and High Street.FROM PHILADELPHIATake the PA Turnpike West (76), getting off at exit 266, and turn right toward Manheim. This is Route 72 South. Follow this into Manheim, turn right onto 772 West. This road will take you into Mount Joy. At the light on Main Street, turn left and go through 2 more lights. The inn is at the end of this block, on the corner of Main Street and High Street. |
