A tour guide, travel agent for some time taking clients throughout the country. Working in ministry for many years with unwed mothers. A secondary dog trainer for United Disabilities. Substituting in the School District of Lancaster for over ten years in various capacities.

Georgie has a heart for hospitality and sharing the passions of this beautiful county! She looks forward to hosting your stay at her one-of-a-kind Lancaster B&B.



Late Summer Newsletter

Summer is winding down!  You might be thinking where you want to go in the last part of the year for  your getaway.  We want to be your choice of destination as our inn will be sure to please you. 

Transformation to the guest rooms and you will be delighted with their new styles.  It has been a continuous progress in motion.  Check out the new website and book your weekend away.

One area we are very excited about is the new patio second floor balcony .  The pond has been completed up there and the guests are loving hearing the sound of water and the lilies blooming.  Bring your wine and relax with the wonderful breeze.

The town itself has added more shops, a bakery and lots of other interesting venues.

The pool is area has been redesigned with new furniture and gardens for your enjoyment.  Of course the porches are always a delight to sit and sip your favorite drink while a a bit of air is coming through.

Love the Outdoors, there is plenty to offer just fifteen to twenty minutes from the inn. Outfitters to take you on excursions on the Susquehanna River where you will find the writings on the rocks done by the tribes of Indians that settled in this area which were quite a few.

Rail to Trails, lots near and just a bit of a jaunt, but well worth the trip. Bring your canoe, kayak or bicycles and we will point you in the direction of a great experience.

Stay a few days and we will set your vacation in motion to explore the great Longwood Gardens, a small town on the Chesapeake Bay where you can get some of the best crabs around, or explore the civil war era in Gettysburg, all just an hour from the inn.
